The group “La Santa Cruz” is represented by Mrs. Olivia and it includes 14 members; they are participating in their first loan but have demonstrated to be hard-working people with a desire to get ahead in life. The majority of the members are involved in various businesses such as selling bread, food, cosmetics, refreshments with pastries, and public transportation. In spite of the market competition, the members know how to get ahead; for this reason, they are requesting a loan to invest in new businesses such as raising animals which is more profitable but requires raw material, supplies, and tools. The higher income would enable them to give their families a better quality of life. In regards to their credit history, considering this is their first loan, the members already have experience with solidarity groups and loans from other institutions similar to Fundación Agrocapital, and they are prepared to make their small business succeed since their families depend on it.
