The community bank “Salesiano” is a group of 13 people, of which 11 are women and two are men, represented by Luisa who is in her first cycle with the institution. Still, they have demonstrated a strong will to succeed in the group meetings. The majority of the group works in businesses such as sales of shoes, fruit, make-up, and sweets. They also work in the manufacture of clothing, bread baking, and others are employed in businesses. Their skill in each area is at a high level, and this shows that they will succeed in whatever business they are in. The loan is designated for the growth of their businesses, the purchase of merchandise, incomes and supplies to improve their earnings, which will permit them to give their families a better quality of life. Though this is their first cycle, the members already have experience with credit in groups thanks to credits from institutions similar to Fundación Agrocapital. They are ready to move forward in their small businesses since their families depend on it.
