The “Semilla” (Seed) Group is led by Sra. Reinalda and is comprised of 13 members (12 women and 1 man) who are really young and dynamic individuals. Their ages range between 20 and 30, but they are very responsible and punctual as demonstrated at their group meetings. Most members engage in retail business selling products such as cosmetics, clothing, food, groceries, and bread. The lone male of the group sells perfumes.

They are aware of the competition and know what they need to do get ahead. Their loan will be used to acquire more merchandise and open new businesses they have planned. This will enable them to grow their enterprises and improve their incomes so that they can improve the quality of life for their families. Even though this is their first loan cycle as a group, they already have experience working with solidarity loans. They know that the support they receive from Fundación Agrocapital is important to keep their businesses afloat and will help them succeed.
