Guadalupe Cortez Pinedo

Guadalupe is a cheerful and hardworking woman. She is 43 years old and the mother of 5 children, of whom 3 are adults and 2 are still dependents. She offers vulcanization services (patching tires), which provides employment for one of her children.

Guadalupe has been a member of the Communal Bank "Las Águilas" (The Eagles) for 10 years. She has the support of her husband, who is a motorcar driver. Her first loan of 300 soles was used to buy candy for a business she managed and is thinking about restarting.

With this loan of 1500 soles, Guadalupe will buy basic necessity products (rice, sugar, noodles, milk, etc.) so that she can open a grocery store in her house. Her goal is to have another store selling parts for motorcycles and motorcars.

Guadalupe es una mujer alegre y trabajadora, tiene 43 años de edad y es madre de cinco hijos, de los cuales 3 son mayores de edad y 2 menores aún. Ella tiene una vulcanizadora (parche de llantas), lo apoya uno de sus hijos en este trabajo. Es socia del Banco Comunal “Las Águilas” desde hace diez años, cuenta con el apoyo de su esposo, él maneja su motokar. Su primer préstamo fue de 300 soles, este dinero lo invirtió en la compra de golosinas, negocio que tenía y que piensa retomar.
Con este préstamo de S/. 1,500 soles, ella comprará productos de primera necesidad (arroz,azúcar,fideos,leche ), ya que piensa poner una bodega en su casa. La meta de Guadalupe es tener una tienda de repuestos para motos y motocarros.
