Ana Maruja Morocho Quezada

Ana Maruja Morocho Quezada is an active member of the El Paraíso Communal Bank, which is located in the Cumbe parrish in the outskirts of the city of Cuenca. Ana lives in the Los Olivos area, which is 15 minutes from the Cumbe parrish. She is 40 and in a common law marriage. She has two children, 17 and 9. Her older son goes to the Técnico Cumb School. Her younger son goes to the Gabriel Arseminio Villauri School in the area. Her house is her own, made with various years of effort in her youth. Her husband transports gas. They help each other economically, forming a good family cornerstone.

Ana has had a grocery store for ten years. Her business is going very well. Her work hours are from six in the morning until ten at night every day, without closing on Sundays. She tells us that the advantage of working in your own business is that you are not subjected to a strict schedule, and nobody gives you orders. When you have something else to do, you close the business. The disadvantage is having little money to stock the store.

She has been working with the bank for ten cycles. She remembers when they started and there were only six members. Now, there are 19. She hopes that more members join to keep growing. Her business has benefited from the loans. She also likes it because they guarantee them between colleagues, and they do not need to do much paperwork.

She will use the money from the loan she is asking for to buy merchandise to better stock her store and have adequate stock to offer her customers.

Ana’s goal is to have a mini supermarket with telephone booths and a stationery store.

Ana Maruja Morocho Quezada es una socia activa del banco comunal El Paraíso que encuentra ubicado en la parroquia Cumbe a las afueras de la ciudad de Cuenca, Ana vive en el sector de los Olivos a unos 15 minutos de la parroquia Cumbe, tiene 40 años de edad vive en unión libre, tiene 2 hijos de 17, 9 años de edad, su hijo mayor estudia en el colegio Técnico Cumbe y su hijo pequeño estudia en la escuela Gabriel Arseminio Villauri del sector, su casa es propia hecha con el esfuerzo de varios años de su juventud, su esposo es transportador de gas, se ayudan económicamente formando un buen pilar familiar.

Ana tiene una tienda de abarrotes hace unos 10 años y le va muy bien en su negocio, el horario de trabajo es desde las 6 de la mañana hasta las 10 de la noche todos los días sin cerrar los domingos, nos cuenta que la ventaja de trabajar en un negocio propio es que no está sujeta a un estricto horario y nadie que le de órdenes, cuando tiene una ocupación cierra el negocio, su desventaja es que le falta un poco de capital para surtirle a su tienda.

Se encuentra trabajando junto al bankito hace 10 ciclos, recuerda que cuando iniciaron eran solo 6 socias y ahora están 19 y espera que más mujeres se integren para seguir creciendo.
Los prestamos le han beneficiado en su negocio, también le gusta porque se garantizan entre compañeras y no realizan mucho papeleo.

El dinero del crédito solicitado lo invertirá en su negocio comprando mercadería surtida para abastecer mejor y contar con un stock adecuado para ofrecer a sus clientes.

La meta de Ana es tener un mini comisariato, ponerse cabinas telefónicas y una papelería.
