Umrijon has been on a pension for a long time, but still works on a Dekhkan farm. Payment for her work is little, but every year during apricot harvest time, she is granted an area with apricot trees. She dries the apricots from the trees with her family (on photo). She also tries to buy more fresh apricots and dry them. She needs money in order to purchase these apricots. Every year she tries to dry more, because her family lives off the sales in the winter. A year ago she got her first loan from Microinvest. This loan helped to earn profit that was spent for her family. This year she plans to take a loan again in order to buy and dry apricots. She asks for $1000 for 12 months.
