Mbabazi Jackline is the leader of her lending group in Ibanda. She is a friendly and trustworthy lady with a business of selling produce, mostly matooke and Irish potatoes from the Kazo trading centre in Ibanda. She has a large banana plantation where she gets most of her produce to sell but also buys from other farmers when the season is poor, like with the Irish potatoes. She is married with 3 children and works very hard to ensure that their school fees are paid on time. She needs a loan to be able to buy more matooke to sell since the last season was not a favorable one for her. She also wants to partially pay for her children’s school fees.
