Loan Update Entrepreneur: Nymph Caseres Location: Camiguin , Province, Philippines Ms. Nymph Caseres used the disbursed loan to purchase additional ready-to-wear items like shirts and pants for her business. Aside from her clothing business, Nymph also runs a food business selling longaniza (or Philippine sausages), hot dogs and chorizo. (The latter two items are most popular with her customers.) Her husband travels to Cagayan de Oro - about a three hour ferry and bus ride away from Camiguin - to purchase food stocks for that business. Nymph said that business is going well - she estimated that she makes between $5,000 to $8,000 pesos a month. She used the business profits to purchase a refrigerator to preserve more food, and said that her businesses have been a big help to her family. She extends her thanks for the loan.
