Thirty-year-old Lucia Loza tells us that she started knitting clothes, like sweaters and blankets, four years ago. She prefers to knit blankets because there's a higher demand for them; she needs the loan to buy wool.
Lucia is married and has three small kids, for whom she cares with lots of love. They are the reason she has her business at home. Lucia learned to knit at an institute and she knits by hand and on a machine, although she prefers to knit by hand. Just like Lucia, the rest of the members have their own businesses selling socks, food, gutters, and yucca; running a beauty salon; and running a funeral parlor. All the members need the loan to buy supplies, ingredients, and raw materials.
