Les membres du groupe Jiguiya (4 femmes mariées et une veuve) avec une moyenne d’âge de 38ans ont en moyenne 4 enfants. Elles vivent en majorité dans des familles monogames à Mancourani Natien un des quartiers de la ville de Sikasso 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Elles collaborent avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin de leur clientèle et sont à leur quatrième prêt de groupe après avoir correctement remboursés les trois précédents.
Elles vont entre autres les ventes de piments, de pommes de terre, de tomates, de pommes d’acajou et d’oranges.
Avec leur nouveau prêt, elles comptent acheter, 6 panier de tomates, 7 sacs de piments, 5 sacs de pomme d’acajou, 2 chargements de charrette en orange et 8 cartons de pommes . Elles s’approvisionnent au grand marché de Sikasso ville et dans la commune rurale de kaboïla.
Elles vendent le plus souvent sur place à des clients venant d’autres grandes villes telles que: Bamako, Koutiala mais aussi à la population locale. Elles vendent au comptant, en gros et en détail, quelques fois à crédit.
Elles envisagent réaliser chacune un bénéfice mensuel de 42.500 FCFA dont une partie sera utilisée pour l’épargne et les besoins de la famille, l’autre partie sera investie dans les activités.
Certaines d’entre elles comptent acheter un terrain à usage d’habitation et d’autres d’acheter un attelage pour les déplacements dans les villages avoisinants.
