Paz Y Progreso Group

Señora Inés Carhuamaca, an enthusiastic and enterprising worker, is 49 years old, married with three children. She is a native of Huarochiri, a member of the El Huscaran association, district of Chaclacayo, Department of Lima. Currently, she is taking on the position of president of the “Paz y Progreso” (Peace and Progress) community bank.

She has been working with EDAPROSPO – Prosperidad for 5 years. Her community bank is made up of 12 members who engage in different business like production, trading, and services.

Inés met her husband in a shoe repair shop where they both worked. They fell in love, got married, and decided to open their own business, with the name “Enciso”. They both work there and have been involved in the repair, making, and sale of footwear for more than 10 years. In order to add to the household income, Inés has also worked at providing house cleaning services for 4 years.

This loan will be invested in the purchase of materials for her shoe repair business, such as glue, molds, leather, soles, nails, etc. In the future, Inés would very much like to be an exporter of footwear and also to have a grocery store in her house.

La señora Inés Carhuamaca trabajadora, entusiasta y emprendedora tiene 49 años de edad, casada, con 3 hijos, natural de Huarochiri, habita por la asociación El huscaran- distrito de Chaclacayo, departamento de lima. Actualmente asume el cargo de presidenta de la alcancía comunal “Paz y Progreso”.
Viene trabajando con EDAPROSPO – Prosperidad desde hace 5 años, su alcancía comunal esta integrada por 12 socios, quienes realizan diferentes actividades como: producción, comercio y servicio.
Inés se conoció con su esposo en una renovadora de calzados ambos trabajaban ahí, se enamoraron, se casaron y decidieron abrir su propio negocio, con la denominación la renovadora “Enciso” en el cual ambos trabajan y se dedican a la renovación, confección y venta de calzados desde hace más de 10 años y para incrementar los ingresos en el hogar Inés también trabaja prestando servicios de limpieza de hogar desde hace 4 años.
Su reciente préstamo lo invertirá en comprar materiales para su renovadora como: pegamentos, hormas, cueros, suelas, clavos, etc.
Inés en el futuro le gustaría mucho ser exportadora de calzado y también aperturar una bodega en casa.
