Bokoli Plus Group

Hélène NzolaMeso, age 56, is the manager of a group named “Bokoli Plus”.  This community bank is united in solidarity for receiving loans from the micro-finance institution Hope RDC, having the acronym IMF HOPE RDC.  The group is composed of 25 members. 

Hélène manages her own warehouse for sacks of corn and cassava that she has been selling for several years.  She has acquired solid experience in this domain, and she is well-known in her area because of the quality of her merchandise.  Thanks to customer trust from which she benefits, her business is prospering. 

She is a loyal client who has obtained seven different loans from IMF HOPE RDC and who repaid them properly.  Her next Kiva loan through IMF HOPE RDC will be used to purchase ten sacks of corn and three sacks of cassava for resale.  Right now, her business generates a profit of $10 a day for her. 

Her ambition in the near-term is to expand the capacity of her warehouse in order to respond to the demands of her customers and to grow her revenues.  Her business is located in the mountainous area to the west of the city of Kinshasa. 

Hélène is a widow and the mother of eight children, ages 20 to 41 years old.  Three of them are students.

Hélène NzolaMeso 56 ans, est dirigeante du groupe dénommé “Bokoli Plus”. Cette banque communautaire est solidairement unie pour recevoir des crédits auprès de l’Institution de Microfinance Hope RDC en sigle IMF HOPE RDC. Elle est constituée de 25 membres.
Hélène gère son propre dépôt des sacs maїs et de manioc qu’elle vend il y a plusieurs années. Elle a acquit une expérience solide dans ce domaine et elle est bien connue dans son milieu à cause de la qualité de ses marchandises. C’est grâce à la confiance qu’elle bénéficie de sa clientèle que son affaire prospère. Elle est cliente fidèle qui a obtenu 7 fois les prêts de l’IMF HOPE RDC et les a retournés correctement. Le prochain crédit de Kiva à travers l’IMF HOPE RDC lui servira à acheter 10 sacs de maїs et 3 sacs de manioc à revendre. Actuellement, son activité lui génère un bénéfice de $10 par jour. Son ambition à court terme est d’agrandir la capacité de son dépôt afin de répondre à la demande de ses clients et d’accroitre le revenu. Son affaire se situe dans la partie montagneuse à l’ouest de la ville de Kinshasa. Hélène est veuve et mère de 8 enfants âgés de 20 à 41 ans. Trois d’entre eux sont étudiants.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
