Maura was orphaned by her father and was only able to complete fifth grade because she didn’t have the money to continue. She began to work selling sweets in the streets. At 16, she got engaged and decided to become a seamstress. She designed and sewed various bag designs to her neighbors. Next she began to design and sew different articles of clothing to sell.
Since Maura has joined FINCA her life has totally changed. Her economic status has improved and she is thankful for the loans. She encourages her neighbors by telling them that they can progress and improve.
Maura needs a loan of 3000 PEN to buy various rolls of fabric for making clothes and sheets. Her dream is to have a large business that sells sheets.
