Grand Bassin Rayon D Espoir Group

The “Rayon D’espoir” or Ray of Hope group is made of twenty male and female entrepreneurs. The group not only represents a variety in both ages of the representatives but also the types of businesses they have. The youngest of the group is under twenty years old and the eldest of the group is above sixty years old. The business range from furniture and door making, to sales of used clothing and sandals, and to a restaurant with international clientele that is on the boarder of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Gamy Jean Pierre is a representative of the group and also the youngest associate at 19yrs old.
Gamy, who has worked on construction and specialized in door making for some year, will use this loan to buy wood, tools and sheet metal to create a place of business for himself. He is very enthusiastic about starting out a business of his own and realizes it will require hard work and patience to be successful.
