Frenk Ernesto Dzombene

Frenk Ernesto Dzombene was born in the municipality of Villa de Namaacha in the frontier with Suazilandia, he is divorced and has 4 children who are between 2 and 10 years old. He is also responsible for his mother and sends her a monthly allowance of 500MT and is able to save 1,000MT.

Frenk went to South Africa when he was 21 years old and obtained a job after the death of his father. He worked for 7 years as a mechanic and finished 5th grade, which he had to interrupt when he came back to Mozambique to take care of his mother. Years later he started working as a security officer, but because of the low salary he left the job and currently works as a truck driver (he transports vehicles from South Africa to Suazilandia) he earns 2,000MT monthly and travels 4 times a month. He sells diverse clothing under request, taking advantage of the travels, obtaining 4,000MT monthly.

This is Frenk’s third loan with Hluvuku and first one with Kiva. The first ones were for 5,000MT and were used to start his business selling clothes. He is confident he will pay before the due date and request a new loan to build a small farm to start another activity option (agriculture).

Frenk Ernesto Dzombene nasceu no município da vila de namaacha na fronteira da suazilandia, está divorciado da sua mulher e é pai de quatro filhos com idades compreendidas entre os 2 aos 10 anos. Responsabiliza se pela sua mãe enviando lhe uma sexta básica de 500.00MT mensalmente e consegue poupar por mês 1.000.00MT.

Frenk emigra para África do Sul quando tinha 21 anos de idade à procura de emprego após a morte do seu pai. Começa a trabalhar como mecânico durante 7 anos e faz a 5ª classe, interrompe quando teve que regressar a Moçambique para cuidar da sua mãe. Anos depois começa a trabalhar como segurança, mas devido ao baixo salário abandona o emprego e trabalha como camioneiro (transporte de carros da áfrica do sul a suazilândia) ganhando mensalmente 2.000.00MT e tem feito quatro viagens ao mês. Faz venda de roupa diversa, por encomenda, aproveitando a facilidade de transporte, tendo mensalmente um lucro de 4.000.00MT.

Este é o terceiro empréstimo de Frenk na Hluvuku e primeiro com Kiva. Os primeiros dois créditos de 5.000.00MT todos foram usados para iniciar o negócio de venda de roupas. Esta confiante que vai reembolsar antes do tempo previsto e pedir um novo empréstimo para construir uma capoeira com objectivo de iniciar outra actividade alternativa (avicultura).
