Lucinda Cumapa Ramirez

Lucinda is a dynamic woman and a fighter. She is 55 years old and the mother of four children, all of whom live on their own now. She earns a living by selling regional produce like yucca, chili peppers, platanos, beans, oranges, and lemons. She grows the produce on her small farm located in the tiny village of Éxito. Lucinda also has the support of her husband, a nurse. She has been a member of the community bank “Profitable Women” for three years. Her first loan was for 300 soles, about $100.

With this loan of 2,000 soles, or $700, she plans to invest in the maintenance of her farmland and also to purchase and raise a few chickens.

Lucinda’s dream is to have a wine cellar in her home and to continue helping her husband with the household expenses.

Lucinda es una mujer luchadora y dinamica , tiene 55 años de edad . Es madre de 4 hijos, todos independientes. Ella se dedica a venta de productos regionales como son yuca, aji dulce, platano, frejol, naranjas,limones, pues extrae estos productos de su chacra que esta ubicado en el caserio Éxito. Lucinda cuenta con el apoyo de su esposo que es enfermero de profesión. Ella es socia hace tres años del Banco Comunal “Mujeres Productivas”. Su primer prestamo fue de 300 soles.

Con este crédito de 2,000 soles, piensa invertirlo en la mantención de su chacra y también comprará gallinas para criar.

La meta de Lucinda es tener una bodega en su casa y seguir apoyando a su esposo en los gastos del hogar.
