Maria

Maria is a hard-working mother of a small baby. She lives with her partner and father of her child in her own home. For the past 4 years she has rented washing machines. This activity consists in her renting washing machines to those who request them who take them to their homes for a determined amount of time and pay an agreed rental fee according to the time they will use them and then return the machines to her. With a previous MFP loan, Maria purchased an additional washing machine bringing her total to 5 which has brought her much satisfaction and increased profits. Maria is happy because she knows that her dreams are little by little coming true and she hopes to reach all her goals for the well-being of her daughter and her family. This will be her second loan with PRISMA Microfinances and she promisses to be very punctual with her repayments such as she was with her previous loan. With these funds she will purchase yet another washing machine to further grow her business.

María es una madre muy trabajadora, tiene 46 años, vive con su pareja y padre de su pequeña bebé, en su casa propia. Desde hace 4 años se dedica al alquiler de lavadoras, actividad que consiste en arrendar sus máquinas de lavado a las personas que se lo solicitan, quienes se las llevan a sus casas para lavar sus prendas, por lo que le pagan a María un monto determinado, según el tiempo de alquiler y luego se la devuelven. Posteriormente, con un préstamo de MFP, María logró comprar otra lavadora y ahora tiene 5, por lo que se siente muy satisfecha, pues su negocio le resulta mucho más rentable. María está feliz porque sabe que poco a poco sus sueños se van haciendo realidad y ella espera poder alcanzarlos todos, por el bienestar de su pequeña hija y de su familia. Esta es su segundo préstamo con Microfinanzas PRISMA y promete ser muy puntual en sus pagos, tal como lo hizo en el ciclo anterior. Con el dinero que viene solicitando comprará otra lavadora para hacer crecer su negocio.
