Annabelle Bayan, 33, hails from Silang, Cavite. Her 35-year-old husband, Danny, works for a private security agency. They have three school-aged children.

Annabelle buys old cars and sells them with a little price mark-up after a few touches of new paint and other accessories. But she makes more earnings from her computer shop. She earns at least 20,000 Philippine pesos a month out of these combined businesses.

She joined the Center for Community Transformation (CCT) Credit Cooperative in 2005. She started with only two personal computers. With loans from CCT, she now has five personal computers. She was also able to purchase two tricycle units from her profits.

Now on her 13th loan cycle, Annabelle needs a loan of P45,000 for the expansion of her business. She will buy additional computers for her computer shop. She also wants to try buying and selling motorbikes.

About CCT

The Center for Community Transformation (CCT) is an organized Christian response against poverty and social injustice. This is carried out through the fusion of social-development initiatives and evangelical mission in a uniquely Filipino context. It serves urban and rural poor communities throughout the Philippines, in pursuit of its desire to see changed lives, strong families and transformed communities centered in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

CCT is a member of the Five Talents family.

Borrower Update

Entrepreneur: Annabelle Bayan

Dear Lenders,

For someone who rents out computers as a business, the next thing to do to expand your business is to provide more units to be rented out. You lenders certainly lent a hand on Annabell’s business by providing her with the amount she needed to buy two more computers to be rented out by her customers. She is grateful for the help and she wants you to know that she is managing well.
