Zapatito Veloz Group

Julia and Antonia sell fried pigskin. They buy the partially prepared pigskin and bag it with a toy. They then sell it to stores or candy stores because it is a product that children enjoy. They have worked at this activity for two years and it is going well. There is always room for improvement and that is why they decided to join with some friends and neighbors and form the group called “Zapatito Veloz”(Fast Little Shoe). This group is part of the focal center “Collpani”. The rest of their partners also have their own businesses such as selling liquor, salt or food or making vests or shawls. All of them need loans to buy raw material or wholesale merchandise.

Julia Aroata y Antonia Mamani, se dedican a vender chicharrones fritos, ellas compran el chicharrón semipreparado fritan y embolsan con algún juguete, luego ofrecen a tiendas y puestos de golosinas ya que es un producto muy requerido por los niños. Trabajan en esta actividad hace 2 años e indican que les va bien, pero pueden mejorar es por eso que se animaron a agruparse con algunas amigas y vecinas y formar el grupo “Zapatito Veloz” que es parte del Centro Focal “Collpani”, sus demás compañeras también tienen sus propios negocios como la venta de licores, sal, comida y la confección de chamarras y mantas. Todas necesitan el préstamo para comprar materia prima o mayor mercadería.
