Communal Association "semilla" Group

In one of the Pro Mujer Focal Centres, the “Los Andes” Focal Centre, you find the Communal Association “Semilla”. This Association is lead by its president, Encarna Mendoza, and the women meet every two weeks. These women are together for 9 years and they like to share their experiences and learn about different topics, in particular health, because it helps them to take better care of their children and prevent diseases such as diarrhoea.

The women in this group have different occupations. While Rebeca and Graciela knit scarves with alpaca wool and sell their products to tourists, other women sell fruit, tennis shoes, mobile phones accessories and other items. At this moment, all of them need a loan to invest in their businesses, buying raw material (wool) and supplies (fruit, tennis shoes).

En uno de los Centros Focales de Pro Mujer que se denomina “Los Andes” se encuentra la Asociación Comunal “Semilla”, liderizadas por su presidenta Encarna Mendoza, se reúnen cada dos semanas. Están juntas hace 9 años aproximadamente y les gusta compartir y capacitarse en cada reunión que asisten, sobre todo les gusta temas de salud porque les ayuda a cuidar a sus hijos y prevenir enfermedades como la diarrea.

Variados son los negocios de las integrantes de este grupo, así Rebeca y Graciela tejen chalinas de lana de alpaca, y ofrecen sus productos a los turistas, otras venden frutas, zapatillas, accesorios de celulares y otros. En esta oportunidad todas necesitan el préstamo para invertir en sus negocios comprando materia prima (lana) y mercadería (fruta, zapatillas),




About Group Loans
