Faridah Nakamya

Faridah is a 28 year married with three children aged between 9 and 12 years. She resides and owns a two roomed house where she is staying with six people and All her children go to school. Faridah takes care of additional family members. There is electricity and no piped water at her home. The family gets three meals a day. She resides and works in semi urban area. She incurs extra transport to and from shopping .She buys her cold drinks in Kibuye one of the busiest markets in Uganda and does her shopping twice a week. She sells to 35 customers a day.and sells to all categories of people on Faridah works seven days a week. Her major monthly expenses include rent for business plus medication. She has been in this business for the last six years Faridah has been with MCDT for6 years servicing her tenth loan, working with the same group mates. She wants to use this loan to stock more food stuffs Faidah is aspiring of seeing her business grow bigger and owning a permanent business premise
