Pedrita Lopez

Pedrita Lopez is from the village of Makawa. She is 51 years old. Pedrita is married and has 2 adult-aged children. To make a living, Pedrita owns & operates a fishing business venture in the food sector operating a fishing business. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from harvesting & selling ocean-caught fish in the local community. Pedrita has been engaged in her business for over 6 years and earns approximately 8000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2006, Pedrita joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Pedrita has successfully repaid a previous loan from PMPC. Pedrita is requesting a new loan of 12000 PHP which will be used to invest in expanding the business. This loan will be the 8th loan taken out by Pedrita from PMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of the borrower's family.
