Pencum Demba Group

Thiaroye is a traditional village of the Lébou people where the principal activity is fishing.  Most of the women's associations are busy in trades involving the processing of seafood, as this is an area of development.  This is why the women of the association Pencum Demba, who are highly conscious of their processed seafood production capacity, have come seeking Kiva to obtain a loan in order to achieve an honest living by the sweat of their brows.

Thiaroye est un village traditionnel Lébou dont l'activité principale est la pêche. La plupart des groupements de femmes s'affairent dans les métiers de transformation de produits halieutiques comme c'est un secteur de développement. C'est pourquoi les femmes du groupement de Pencum Demba très conscientes de leur capacité de production en produits halieutiques transformés sont venus solliciter Kiva pour disposer d'un prêt afin d'arriver à gagner leur vie honnêtement grâce à la sueur de leur front.
