Honest Group

These people are Kadiatu Kargbo, Fatmata Kamara, and Mabinty Koroma. They called their group 'Honest Group'. This will be the fourth loan these entrepreneurs are receiving from SMT. Previous loans have created a huge and a very significant impact into the lives and living standards of these borrowers. Having repaid their last loan successfully, they are again asking for a new loan of Le 800,000 for each to further strengthen their businesses.

Kadiatu Kargbo (left) is the leader of this group. Kadiatu is age forty-seven, married to a businessman; they have four children. One of her children has just sat to the West Africa Senior Secondary Schools Examinations, two are in Junior Secondary School III, and the last is in class four. Kadiatu sells cooked rice and has been in this business for over thirty years now. With this loan, she will be able to buy cooking ingredients like rice and palm oil (the most popular cooking oil) wholesale.
