Ochirpurev Tumurkhuleg

Ochirpurev Tumurkhuleg is a 30 year-old businessman, who lives with his wife and an under-school-age son in a ger (nomadic housing tent) in Uvurkhangai province in central Mongolia. In 2005 he started his business selling second-hand clothes at the local market with his wife. They bring goods, such as clothing and shoes, from Narantuul, the largest out-door market in the capital city, Ulaanbaatar. Ochirpurev and his wife then resell the goods in Uvurkhangai at a retail price. Over the years he has gained much experience and his business is successful. Besides his primary business, he is working hard to have another stall where his wife will sell new clothes imported from China. Ochirpurev is an open-minded, hard-working and responsible person. He says, "I would like to improve and expand my business so that I can build a cozy and warm house." He is requesting 2,0 million tugrugs (~1,380 USD) to purchase more supplies.
