Carol Milabo

Carol Milabo is from the village of Banlag, Valencia City. She is 30 years old, is married, and has three school-aged children.

Carol owns and operates a sari-sari (variety) retail shop, selling a variety of different products in the local community. She has been engaged in her business for over three years and earns approximately 4,000 PHP a month.

In May 2009, Carol joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan of 5,000 PHP from HSPFI.

Carol is requesting a new loan of 8,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional products to sell. This loan will be her 2nd from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
