18 De Agosto Group

The group “18 de Agosto” (August 18th) is led by Sra. Marcela and consists of 13 members (10 women and 3 men). Most of the members have retail businesses selling products such as food, empanadas, soft drinks, ceramics, shoes, and clothing, as well as providing different services. The level of business competition is high, but the members are experienced enough to know that they must offer a variety of high-quality products in order for their businesses to succeed.

The loan they are requesting will be used to augment their working capital and expand their small businesses so that they can increase their earnings. This translates into a better quality of life for their families, which continues to improve each day. They are grateful for the confidence placed in them to continue working harder. The members are starting their first loan cycle together, but they have previous experience working in solidarity groups. Therefore, they promise to give it their all and move forward with responsibility and unity.

El Grupo “18 de Agosto” esta representado por la señora Marcela y conformado por 13 miembros entre los cuales 10 son mujeres y 3 varones. La mayoría de las socias se dedica al comercio de productos como a la venta de comida, empanadas y refrescos, cerámicas, zapatos, ropa y a la prestación de diferentes servicios. La competencia a nivel comercial es alta pero la socias tienen mucha experiencia y saben como sacar adelante sus negocios ofreciendo productos variados y de buena calidad. El crédito que han obtenido, es para aumentar su capital de trabajo y emprender pequeños negocios para incrementar más sus ganancias, que se traduce en mejorar la calidad de vida de sus familias que día a día van mejorando mas, por ello están muy agradecidos por la confianza depositada para seguir trabajando con mas ganas. La socias van cursando su primer ciclo pero ya cuentan con experiencia en grupos solidarios por lo se comprometen a dar todo de si para salir adelante con responsabilidad y unidad.
