Ana is a member of the Salvadorean Mothers communal bank. She is 61 years old and has seven children, all of whom are married and live with her. Her father was a carpenter and taught her husband and three of her sons carpentry. They are dedicated to continuing working as carpenters, making images of various saints and plaster casts. Ana works with children every day, however, she says it doesn’t feel like work because she loves children. Ana needs a loan to invest in their carpentry business.
