Dorcas

Dorcas is thirty-one years old. She is divorced and has given birth to two children: a son and a daughter. Both of her children are still in school. As a single parent, she says she works very hard to be able to provide for the family. She lives with her children in a rented apartment in Dunkwa in the Central Region of Ghana.

Dorcas is a trader. She trades in vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, and other food items. She buys her goods from Kumasi and sells on a table at the market square. She has been in business for four years and wants a loan to buy goods in bulk to expand her business.
