Norita Tapullima De Vasquez

Norita is 49 years old and has six children. She is a single parent. Norita dedicates herself to selling “Unique” brand beauty products and shoes.

Norita has been working with Kiva partner Manuela Ramos for eight years and belongs to the communal bank “San Fernando II.” She invested her first loan of 300 soles (about $100) in beauty products and plans to invest this loan of 2,000 soles in buying, from the capital, Lima, more shoes to sell.

Norita has always been a hard-working woman; she has had to be strong in order to keep moving forward with her six children. She is grateful to Manuela Ramos for her loans, especially now that her business has been growing. Norita’s goal is to someday own a restaurant because she enjoys cooking.
