Bank of Entrepreneurship: LAS DELICIAS

This bank was established on August 03, 2009 as an initiative by a group of women entrepreneurs to develop their small businesses. The group is on its 2nd loan cycle and consists of 16 members. Their businesses offer the following products and services: jewelry, food, sewing and tailoring, cosmetics, medicines, refreshments (such as mocochinchi), ice cream, baked goods, hand-painted fabrics, and other activities that require access to quick credit. The members are satisfied with the work of Emprender because they have learned how to save and handle more responsibility. As a group, they respect one another and enjoy the time they share when they meet every two weeks.

Sra. Elda Machado is the group president and new to this position. She sells bread and is planning to also sell jewelry. She takes care of her children and is a very friendly and dynamic person. Sra. Elda has also demonstrated that she is an accomplished and responsible leader, since she has met all of her loan commitments.

Sra. Juanita Gomez is the group treasurer and a long-time member. In addition to selling jewelry and animals, she also handles the chores at homes. With the income she earns, she is able to support her family. Sra. Juanita is considered one of the most respected and accomplished members of the group.

Sra. Marcela Tereba is the group secretary. She makes hand-painted fabrics used for tablecloths, napkins, and T-shirts. She is 18 years old and is still studying and perfecting her painting techniques. Sra. Marcela has 3 years experience with her business. She works 5 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. Her job is primarily to meet the people who visit her shop to place their orders.

Banco de Emprendimiento: LAS DELICIAS fue fundado el 03 DE AGOSTO del 2009, a iniciativa de un grupo de señoras que tienen un pequeño negocio y desean surguir en un negocio, el grupo esta en su 2do ciclo, compuesto por 16 personas,entre otras actividades estan la venta de bijouteria, comida, costura y sastreria, promotoras de cosmeticos, venta de pastillas y refresco de mocochinchi (durazno seco), venta de helados, panaderia, pintado en tela, que son actividades que necesitan creditos rapidos.Las Señoras estan conforme de trabajar con Emprender, porque aprendieron ahorrar y tener mucha responsabilidad, respeto y al mismo tiempo compartir con sus amigas y vecinas cada quincena.
La Sra.ELDA MACHADO es Presidenta del grupo, es nueva como presidenta del Banco de Emprendimiento. Ella se dedica a la venta de pan ademas de ir a vender a provincia bijouteria, atiende a sus hijos, es una persona amigable y muy dinamica, ademas de ello es una persona cumplida y responsable .Tambien ella es unas de las lideres del grupo y hace que todas cumplan con sus cuotas.
La Sra. Juanita Gomez es la tesorera, socia antigua. Se dedica al rubro de venta de bijouteria y animales, dentro del rubro tiene 4 años de antiguedad y tambien realiza labores de casa. Con los ingresos que percibe ayuda al sustento de su familia y ademas de considerarla que es responsable y cumplida en el grupo.
La Sra. Marcela Tereba, ella es secretaria del BE Las Delicias, se dedica al pintado en tela, realiza manteles, servilletas y pintado en poleras, tiene 18 años y aún sigue estudiando y perfeccionando sus tecnicas de pintado en tela tiene, 3 años de antigüedad en el rubro, trabaja de lunes a sabado 5 horas al dia, su trabajo mayormente es atender a la gente que visita su domicilio para hacerle los pedidos.
