Alicia Martinez Borge

Doña Alicia is 43 years old, married, and has 2 children. Her oldest child helps with the household expenses, while the other child is a 12 year old student. She has the support of her husband. Doña Alicia has worked as a nurse at Asuncion Hospital for 17 years.

She is requesting her 8th loan in order to improve her house by adding a porch. It should be mentioned that her previous home improvement loan was used to install a ceramic tile floor, but this is the first time her loan has benefited from Kiva funding.

Doña Alicia’s greatest dream is to continue improving her house because it is the only family asset that she has to pass on to her children when she is gone.

Doña Alicia de 43 años de edad es casada, tiene 2 hijos, uno mayor que le ayuda con los gastos del hogar y uno de 12 años en edad escolar, ademas cuenta con el apoyo de su esposo, trabaja como enfermera en el Hospital Asuncion desde hace 17 años; esta solicitando su 8vo credito para mejorar su vivienda construyendo un porche, cabe mencionar que con los creditos anteriores ha logrado mejorar su casa poniendole la ceramica, aunque hasta en este credito sera beneficiada con el fondo Kiva. El mayor sueño de doña Alicia es seguir mejorando su casita pues es el patrimonio que dejara a sus hijos cuando ella falte.
