Lwesso Annet is a devoted and hard-working lady who sells fish as her business. She is a married lady with 6 children aged 20 – 12 years. One of her children is in the university and the rest in secondary schools. She also cares for orphaned children. She operates from Lugazi's central market and, although she started on a small scale, she is now a wholesaler and is able to earn 150,000/= in profits each week. This is Annet’s 12th loan and she plans to buy more fish for her business so that she can make more profits. This will enable her to pay her children’s school fees and general upkeep, thereby improving her standard of living.
