The leader of the group, Sainaya, is sixty. Almost all of the five children brought up by her are now grown-ups. Her two daughters and two sons live separately as they have their own families. Only her little son stays with his parents as he is still a college student.

To make a living, her husband farms land and raises livestock. As to Sainaya, she keeps two cows and sells their milk to the locals. Actually, one of her cows was given to her by her father and mother-in-law as a wedding gift. Now this gift lets her make $45 a month. Raising cattle has allowed them to marry two of their sons and even increase the total population.

Sainaya has far-going plans. The first obstacle is getting a loan. Once it is overcome, she plans to buy two calves which she is going to fatten up for resale. As she sells them, she intends to invest the money in buying a flat for her daughter in Tokmok city. After fulfilling this plan she will be able to finish building her house, which is now under construction.

Here is Sainaya’s team – Rosa, Chynarkan and Kulbubu:

Rosa is a widow and is the mother of five children. She manages to keep a cow, a horse and five sheep. She is happy to have married her three daughters, despite her low income. Rosa wants to buy a cow. However, without a loan she won’t be able to do that.

Chynarkan, 47, is the mother of five children, most of whom go to college. This is quite burdensome since neither she nor her husband have a good income. They mainly live by keeping cattle. Chynarkan needs a loan to buy a foal which, after feeding for one year, they plan to resell.

Kulbubu, 48, is a widow. She has brought up six children, some of whom help her now. She keeps two cows and sells milk which helps her make $20 a month, enough to sustain her for a month. She hopes to get a loan and buy a calf.
