Tilebubu is this group’s leader. Though she is forty-seven and has a husband, who provides for the family by raising cattle, Tilebubu has always preferred to live an active life for her part and not just stay at home. She is one of those rare women who manage to combine family duties with work.

Tilebubu has raised three children. Her eldest daughter lives separately and her other daughter and son go to college and high school respectively. As to Tilebubu’s occupation, she wakes early in the morning and heads toward Alamudun market, where she purchases meat, mainly lamb and beef; and innards: intestines, stomach, etc. wholesale and resells them in Kant and Tokmok cities. This brings in US$ 190 a month, a significant contribution to family budget.

Seeing her efforts and being aware of what hard work it is, her husband and son strive to help her. As an achievement Tilebubu’s family has finally bought a car! They have also built some facilities around the house. Tilebubu does not want to stop at that. She is keen to obtain a loan to purchase shoes and invest more money on buying innards. This loan would be helpful to repair their car.

Tilebubu has a pretty experienced team of partners. They are Aina (52), Doorhan (23), Edilbek (47) and Marifat (53).

Aina is a widow. She works as a chief inspector in an HR office. She also sells strawberries and raspberries from her garden. Aina has got interested in keeping cattle, and hopes to get a loan to purchase one cow, one calf and two sheep.

Doorhan is married. She manufactures national bed clothing and bakes pastries. Doorhan needs a loan to purchase a calf, two sacks of flour and other ingredients for baking, as well as to purchase some fabric for the bedding.

Edilbek is a musician. He also organizes cultural activities and concerts for disabled people. He needs a loan for car repair. Otherwise it is going to be difficult to carry all his instruments.

Marifat sells vegetables at a local market. She wants to obtain a loan to buy 660 pounds of grapes.
