Ms. Violeta Quiterio is originally from a community called Huehuetan in the state of Guerrero. She has been living in Marquelia for approximately 6 years with her husband and two children in her in-laws’ house. Ms. Quiterio has been selling fruit cocktail and snacks at a school for 2 years.
She needs this loan in order to expand her business because she also wants to sell other products—such as juice and shakes—in the evening. In so doing, she will be able to boost sales and increase her income so that she can improve her family’s standard of living, provide a better education for her children, and start to build her own house.
