Mr. Yaya Bagayoko, age 20, is unmarried and has no children.  He lives at his aunt's place in the Hérémakono Nord of Bougouni (region of Sikasso).  Never having had modern schooling, he used to help his father for years with field work in the village.  To have lucrative work, he decided to come to Bougouni City to learn a trade.  And so, he opted for repairing motorbikes with his cousin.  With eight years of experience, Yaya has a good command of his work.

For making his business more profitable and earning the loyalty of his customers, by way of saving them from going hundreds of meters in search of spare parts, Yaya decided to collaborate with Soro Yiriwaso, a micro-finance institution, with which he is now on his first individual loan.

He intends to use this loan to buy spare parts for motorbikes in Bamako (capital of Mali) from wholesalers at the grand marketplace and from Dibibani.

With this loan, Yaya plans on realizing a monthly profit of 33,000 francs CFA that will allow him to help his aunt with covering family expenses and to invest the rest into his business.
