The group Sabali is composed of eight married woman living in large polygamous families. These women average 32 years of age and four children, and they all live in the village of Zogofina Wêrê, of the rural community of Sakoïba - prefecture of Ségou (4th administrative region of the Republic of Mali). They know one another through ties of kinship and marriage. Their winter-time work involves growing millet, peanuts, hibiscus flowers, beans, sesame, etc.

With the goal of obtaining farm supplies for their use and being able to recruit men (workers) for labor and weeding at the start of the rainy season, the group members turned towards Soro Yiriwaso. And they are now on their first farm loan cycle after having correctly repaid three solidarity loans.

This loan will be used to buy 16 sacks of fertilizer and 800 kg of millet and peanut seeds and to recruit the manpower for labor and weeding. Essential supplies are gotten at the grand marketplace of Ségou during the weekly fairs. Part of the harvest is consumed at home while the other part is destined for sale to men and women customers at the Ségou weekly fair.

The profit is used for covering the costs of health care and schooling for the children and for processing and purchasing fodder (meal) for the livestock in order to feed the cows well, which produce a large quantity of milk destined to be sold.

The group members have the ambition to increase the amount of milk produced, so as to increase the volume to be sold.
