Rwambare Elvanis is the leader of the Rwempiri subgroup in Ibanda. She is a happy and friendly lady with a business of selling milk from her farm animals in Rwemipiyafu village. She has a herd of cattle that give her over 60 liters of milk every day. Once she sells, she is able to settle her family needs including her children’s school fees and general upkeep. She is also a farmer with banana plantations from where she gets matooke (plantain) for sale.
Elvanis is seeking her 9th loan and, this time, she would like to employ labor that can help cultivate a fresh piece of land for increased farming as well as buying two more cows for farm expansion.
