The group of women called San Cayetano was formed on March 20, 2009, thanks to its general director, señora Basilia Bogado, who sells fruits. She found out about the program thanks to the president of another group, who was her neighbor. She invited her to form her own group, and she contacted an advisor to get more information about the program and the work that Mujeres Emprendedoras does. Once she had all of the information, she succeeded in bringing together 17 working women, who are now on their second loan. They work together in a supportive manner. The average credit that will be loaned to each member is 429.41 guaranís, which will go towards different activities like selling beverages, charcoal, fruit, trinkets, medicine, food, etc. All of them carry out these activities to make money, and they help each other to reach their common objectives that they have with Fundación Paraguaya. They actively participate in their weekly meetings and demonstrate a spirit of teamwork. With this credit, they will buy merchandise for a grocery store like rice, sugar, mate, dairy products, bread, soft drinks, etc. They will also buy ingredients to prepare food like meat, flour, eggs, condiments, etc. And they will buy charcoal, beverages, fruit, trinkets, CDs, medicines, clothing, and general merchandise.
