Josephine Namuli's Group

Josephine Namuli is the leader of her subgroup of Suubilyamukama. She is a married lady with a business of selling both new and used clothes. Before, she dealt in only new clothes but diversified to make more profits. She earns about 150,000 UGX at the moment. Josephine says that her main challenge in the business is the competition but because she always has enough stock and delivers good customer care, her customers keep coming back to her. She hopes to one day start a wholesale clothing selling business as well as buy her own house. Apart from her business, the loans have always helped in paying school fees for her children and dependents. She is a mother of 5 children and she cares for other orphaned children also in school.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
