Alice Muthoni Njuguna is a 39-year-old seamstress; she is married and they have three children. She is a seamstress specialized in making bed covers and curtains. She has been in the market for about 20 years making a monthly profit of about kshs 30,000.
Alice was introduced to KADET by a friend. She was a client of another MFI but moved to KADET after relocating to Nairobi. With her loan, Alice intends to add more materials in order to meet her increasing client needs. She hopes to scale up the making of bedding and upholstery, targeting urban clients.
