Maribel is an enterprising woman, a teacher by profession, and a mother. Her background has allowed her to raise her children with a view to meeting their needs inside and outside her home. Her compensation as a teacher was not sufficient to meet the needs of her family and, because of this, she decided to enter the business of selling clothes.

She has carried out this activity for 10 years, time in which she has learned to manage the business and establish friendship with some dealers who provide her with good quality merchandise. This is a great benefit since she can offer the promise of dressing her customers at very comfortable prices. This marks the difference between other sellers and herself.

The difficulty she faces is having to make weekly collections from people to whom she sells on credit. Due to the distances she has to cover this task takes all day during the weekends.

Now, Maribel is planning to open a shop in her house. Since her customers are acquainted with her home this motivated her to establish a shop where she offers diverse products such as clothing and household articles which she hopes to obtain soon.

She has already had 13 loans with Microfinanzas PRISMA. These have allowed her to improve her quality of life. Furthermore, her community bank has offered a good opportunity for economic, social, and personal development to her and her friends. The 3000 soles she is applying for will permit her to invest in the purchase of showcases and other equipment for exhibiting merchandise.
