Teresita Nerez

Forty-eight-year-old Teresita Nerez, a resident of Gotucan Ozamiz City, is a married mother of two school-aged children. To make a living, she owns and operates a business that sells agriculture products, primarily bananas, to local community members. Teresita has been engaged in her business for over five years and earns approximately 1500 PHP a month.

In 2008, Teresita joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Having fully repaid a previous loan from GDMPC, Teresita is requesting a new loan, her second, of 5000 PHP to purchase additional products to sell. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
