Elena used to earn money by cooking and serving food to her neighbors until she opened a small variety store three months ago. She makes a daily income of P 600 and has hired two youngsters to assist her in her business.

Dear Lenders,

Elena was recently granted a loan of PHP 12,000 as an additional capital for her variety store. She bought supplies and groceries for her store which amounted to PHP 6,000, and then she bought ingredients for her rice cakes which amounted to PHP 2,000.
