A sus 36 años María se encuentra casada y madre de tres hijos todos aun menores de edad y estudiando. Edwin el esposo de María trabaja como albañil y aporta a la familia US $50 mensuales, con estos ingresos la familia no lograría salir adelante, es por ello que María monto hace ya diez años su propio negocio el cual le genera ingresos que son de gran ayuda para la familia, el negocio de María es la venta de variedad de zapatos, se encuentra ubicado en el mercado municipal de la zona, donde hay mucha afluencia de personas lo cual le ayuda a vender más rápido sus zapatos; el crédito que solicita María es para la compra de nuevos estilos en zapatos que le ayudaran aumentar sus ventas.
