Cynthia Appiah

Cynthia Appiah is married and has three children. Her husband is a teacher. She has received schooling through junior high school.

Cynthia sells kenkey at Abura, which she has done since 1999. Kenkey is a Ghanaian dish which is prepared from fermented corn dough that is cooked and wrapped in the corn husk and eaten with hot pepper.

Cynthia uses her income to pay school fees and clothing for the children. She will use the loan to buy maize to prepare more kenkey for sale. With the new profits from her expanded business, she plans to re-invest in her business.
