Manassé Plus Group

Bibi Boyelipo has been a micro-entrepreneur since 1992. She began to sell peanuts, cookies, and grilled manioc with a initial capital of US $10. Her business prospered thanks to reinvested income, good management, and her remarkable courage.

Bibi managed to maintain her clientele for more than a decade in her neighborhood located in the east of Kinshasa. In 2008, she decided to join one of the groups of IMF HOPE RDC, a group called « Manasé Plus » in order to get an ongoing series of loans which will allow her to make her dream come true--to one day open a "cold store" or an electrical parts store.

She has already received 4 loans from HOPE that she has reimbursed correctly. The next loan will allow her to buy a mill to make the peanuts into peanut butter with the intention of diversifying her business which is generating presently a profit of US$ 20 per week.

Bibi is 52, married and the mother of 2 children, 15 and 16. Both are enrolled in secondary school. Besides these two children, she also takes care of two other children who are orphans--a nephew and a niece of hers.

Bibi Boyelipo est micro-entrepreneur depuis 1992. Elle a commencé à vendre les arachides, les gâteaux et les maniocs grillés avec un capital initial de $10. Son activité a prospéré grâce aux bénéfices accumulés réinvestis, la bonne gestion ainsi que son courage très remarquable. Bibi est parvenue à maintenir sa clientèle pendant plus d’une décennie dans son quartier situé à l’est de Kinshasa. En 2008, elle décide d’intégrer un des groupes de l’IMF Hope RDC dénommé « Manasé Plus » en vue d’avoir un appui financier permanent qui va l’aider à concrétiser son rêve d’ouvrir un jour une chambre froide ou un magasin des pièces électriques. Elle a déjà reçu quatre fois les prêts de Hope qu’elle a remboursé correctement. Le prochain crédit lui servira d’acheter une machine à moudre les arachides en pate dans le but de diversifier son affaire qui lui génère actuellement un bénéfice de $20 par semaine. Bibi a 52 ans, mariée et mère de 2 enfants âgés de 15 et 16 ans. Tous deux sont élèves à l’école secondaire. En dehors de ces deux enfants, elle prend aussi soins de deux autres enfants orphelins. Il s’agit d’un neveu et une nièce.
