The smiling person in the photograph above is Mr. Tan Hoeun in his farm field. Since 1979, he has been growing various crops on his own farmland in the village. His wife works with him on the farm. Beside his farming business, he uses his old car to transport passengers every day for additional profit. The family has eight children: five are married and have started their own households, and the other three are still living at the family home. Tan Hoeun will be using the loan money to buy more fertilizer for his rice crop that is not doing well.
