Siem San's Group

Siem San currently owns a motorbike that he uses to pick up passers-by to earn a living. Recently he can’t attract as many customers as before because his motorbike often breaks down; he is therefore applying for a loan to add to his personal savings in order to buy a new one to replace the old broken one. The other four borrowers who are jointly taking out this loan:

Mr. Hay is a tuk-tuk driver, who is asking for a loan to replace his existing motorbike that has broken down.

Mrs. Sour is a single woman selling groceries, who requests a loan to buy more grocery inventory to sell.

Mrs. Yet is a chef for wedding parties and she seeks a loan to buy a motorbike to ride to work.

Mrs. Sum will be using the loan to purchase additional grocery items to sell.




About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
